Duties:
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to high school students in English, Spanish, and French.
- Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring sessions with classroom curriculum.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with students, preferably in a high school classroom or secondary tutoring setting.
- Knowledge of various teaching methods and techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
