Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the centralized billing office, including billing, collections, accounts receivable, and payment posting.
- Supervise a team of billing specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality work and productivity.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and workflows to streamline billing processes, improve efficiency, and minimize errors.
- Monitor billing performance metrics, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement in revenue cycle management.
- Coordinate with department heads, administrators, and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely billing of services rendered.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of claims to Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and private pay sources.
- Manage relationships with third-party payers, insurance companies, and collection agencies to resolve billing issues and denials.
- Conduct regular audits of billing records, invoices, and collections activities to ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on billing regulations, coding guidelines, and reimbursement methodologies.
- Develop and deliver training programs for billing staff on billing processes, compliance requirements, and industry updates.
- Prepare and present financial reports, performance metrics, and revenue projections to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in healthcare billing and revenue cycle management.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance billing accuracy, reduce denials, and optimize reimbursement rates.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the centralized billing office.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
