Job Description Responsibilities:
· MUST HAVE a 0220 or 0440 State of Florida Insurance Agents License. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE ONE OF THESE ACTIVE LICENSES.
· The Account Manager will be responsible for WRITING new & renewal policies.
· MUST HAVE Strong Personal Lines P&C Experience - QUOTING (not just reviewing) Home, Flood, and Auto, ideally in Citizens, Hartford, and Wright.
· This is a PERSONAL LINES job. Please do not apply if you sell Life and Health, or Commercial.
· Review available sales options & rates, along with suggestion other coverage & policy options.
· Prepare proposals for the client and/or sales team to present.
· Process applications, bind, endorse, certificates etc.
· Know the Florida marketplace, to include Carriers and MGA's.
· Handle an assigned book of business and keep clients informed.
· Experience with Applied/TAMS online is a plus.
· Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
Requirements:
· Florida personal lines property & casualty 5 years’ experience preferred.
· Ability to build strong rapport with clients and a team player.
· Strong verbal & written communication skills along with excellent documentation.
· Be organized, work well within time constraints, ability to prioritize and multitask.
· Ability to adapt to various carriers websites and rating system.
· Applied TAM management program experience, although other systems experience acceptable.

Duties:

Qualifications:
- Valid insurance license in the state of employment
- Proven experience as an insurance agent or relevant sales role
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients and establish trust
- Strong negotiation and sales skills
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for insurance applications and policy management
