Position Description:
The Forecasting Team is responsible for managing the work streams and the resources that affect how appointments are being offered. The forecast system creates and maintains forecast models for the Network workforce, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from multiple sources.
The Forecast Team is the integration point into the Field Network, supporting Field Management in all Regions. Implementation of the Forecast System, Detail forecast modeling is the responsibility of this position. This position leads the dialogue for their respective markets and products team.
The Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor statistical forecast in the Forecasting Tool which incorporates resource information to allow the company to predict Employee resources and provide its supply chain with information to meet customer demand.
- Gather, analyze, and validate data
- Review resulting statistical forecast model and plan
- Achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process and improving relationships among planners and Field Management to better guide the company expectations and results while managing expenses.
- Apply error analysis techniques to improve forecasting
- Summarize aggregate statistical forecasts
- Recommend adjustments for operational forecasts
- Prepare relevant material to facilitate research and discussion
- Provide input to volume planning (Short term and Historical Load Data for annual PTO process)
- Facilitate and manage demand planning customer meetings
- Achieve consensus with the business side and the demand chain via planning and stand-up calls
- Maintain demand planning system and Forecast Tool
- Enter and modify data and ensure the correctness of data
- Monitor trends in forecast error
- Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process
- Respond to override requests via chat
- Refine systems and methods to continually improve forecasts to better anticipate customer needs.
Top Skills:
- At least one year of experience with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Excel (able to create Pivot Tables and Filter Reports)
- You do not need to know how to create PowerBI reports, just the ability to understand and read reports
Shift: 7am-4pm of the area they are supporting (could be CST, MST, or PST)
Pay rate: $25/hour
