Hours: Monday-Friday Split Shift (6:30 AM - 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM - 6:30 PM)
continuous 8 hour shift in Summers and on non school days (winter break/spring break)

The Boys & Girls Club of North Kitsap is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time, year-round Youth Development Professional.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Youth Development Professional (Elementary) will:
- Provide direction, affirm positive behavior and act as a role model to youth.
- Provide a safe environment through active supervision, setting clear expectations and maintaining clean program areas.
- Visibly enjoy working with children and teens and having fun while helping members build confidence and skills
- Contribute to the creation of the Club’s overall climate for youth development and success
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, staff, and community members
- Maintain a good reputation and moral conduct outside of work, in the community and on social media.
- Transport youth to and from school.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- 23 years of age or older - Required
- Pass a National Background Check – Required
- Have a clean driving record
- Some experience working with youth – Preferred
