A local mental health and addiction recovery hospital chain is seeking an admissions specialist to help us attract and admit patients in need of life-saving help to our facilities. This is a “people-oriented” position, and the ideal candidate must exhibit excellent customer service, deep compassion and understanding, and a desire to help others.
Primary Responsibilities
· Receives and answers inquiries regarding admission to treatment programs
· Build rapport with potential clients through conversation
· Obtains and processes client information through phone interviews
· Inputs all information into CRM programs
· Verifies client information and determines eligibility for admission to treatment programs
· Educates potential clients on procedures, policies, and steps and answers any questions
· Contacts appropriate staff in other departments for additional assessments and information
· Monitors and helps maintain communication equipment
· Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines; recommending improved procedures.
· Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities.
· Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Required Knowledge/Experience:
Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment required

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent required. University/college degree is preferred.
· Minimum of one year of previous call center, receptionist, admissions, or other customer service experience preferred.
