Are you passionate about programming and eager to contribute to the world of life insurance? Join our CyberLife team as a Programmer Analyst! In this role, you’ll play a vital part in developing and maintaining programmatic solutions for life insurance policies on the CyberLife policy administration system. We’re looking for an entry-level computer programmer who will become skilled in the development of basic programming solutions to support the implementation and maintenance of life insurance policies.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Effective Communication: Collaborate with business representatives to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Coding Excellence: Write clean, reliable, and maintainable code that aligns with business needs and programming standards.
Testing and Approval: Review testing results with peers and business analysts to ensure solutions meet expectations.
Documentation: Follow procedural standards for documentation, facilitating smooth migration to the locked-up production environment.
Customer-Centric Approach: Provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
Flexibility: Be prepared for occasional night and weekend work to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of three years of application programming experience.
- Experience in life insurance or annuity systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
