We are looking for Local Coordinators in North Carolina & Georgia to help place foreign exchange students with host families. This is a part-time, contract position, meaning you will work on your own schedule and are compensated for the number of students you place.
Local Coordinators can earn up to $1400 per student placed. We offer up to 40% higher pay than other exchange agencies. This is an amazing opportunity to get connected with families and high schools in your area as well as work with exchange students throughout their year in the United States!

What You’ll Do
- Recruit volunteer families to host international exchange students for a year or a semester
- Work with area schools to coordinate exchange student enrollment
- Serve as liaison between the students, families, and SAE main office
- Abide by all regulations set by SAE, CSIET, and the U.S. Department of State

- Outgoing and well-connected in your area
- Background in marketing, education, social work, or international relations
- Interested in learning about other cultures
- Enjoy meeting new people
- Able to provide your own transportation
- Adept with social media

It is our belief that Local Coordinators, the on-the-ground support staff working daily with students and families, are the back-bone of student exchange. To reflect that belief in YOU, we pay up to 40% higher than other exchange agencies for the same work.
