Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to join our team. As the Registered Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
We are offering a $7,500 sign on bonus for full-time hires!
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans
- Provide education and training to nursing staff
- Participate in case management activities
- Perform basic life support procedures as needed
- Phlebotomize patients for laboratory testing
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assist with tube feeding and other specialized procedures
- Provide dementia care for patients with cognitive impairments
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in TN
- Preferred experience in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems and processes
- Experience in patient assessment
- Familiarity with tube feeding procedures, TPN, wound Vacs
- Knowledge of dementia care best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership abilities
