As the Front Desk Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, setting the tone for their experience at our clinic. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations, from managing appointments and patient records to handling inquiries and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
- Coordinate patient check-in and check-out processes
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient compliance to their appointments and scheduling productivity per appointment availability ensuring optimal utilization of the clinic’s schedules.
- Answer and route phone calls, addressing inquiries and providing information.
- Handle or direct any billing or insurance-related inquiries.
- Perform reminder calls to patients with upcoming appointments
- Complete insurance verifications
- Manage distribution and collection of new patient paperwork
- Ensure patient demographic and insurance data is accurately entered into patient record
- Execute end of day reports to complete billing process for submission to billing company
- Implement and maintain efficient office workflows and processes.
- Consistently work to identify areas of opportunity or improvement in clinic’s front desk processes.
- Ensure the highest standard of customer service and patient satisfaction.
- Facility Appearance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and front office area to create a welcoming environment.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Assist the overall Practice Manager to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards (AHCA, HIPAA, etc..).
- Provide support to medical staff as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in medical administration is a plus
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in office software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Must demonstrate consistent professional conduct and meticulous attention to detail.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in medical software and office applications
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
