RN/LPN Requirements:
- Two years’ experience in an acute care or long-term care facility
- Must possess knowledge and skills in areas of nursing principles and practices
- Preparation and administration of medications and clinical assessments.
RN/LPN Responsibilities:
- Ensure the clinical operations in the households follow federal, state and local regulations, the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Maine and professional standards of nursing care while honoring person-centered and resident-directed care
- Observes resident status as necessary to assure quality care and coordinates with other resident services to assure continuity of care
- Provides leadership to household staff to maintain policies and procedures for clinical practices and household management that supports the values of Person First and resident-directed care
- Implements clinical policies and procedures which ensure safe, sanitary and efficient practices supporting professional standards of nursing care
- Assures documentation, medication administration, resident nursing care, safety and sanitation, personnel and staff development, RAI process, material management, QAPI and residents rights follow facility standards
Education:
- Requires a current State of Maine RN or LPN license
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is a plus
- Certification as a Gerontological Nurse a plus
Full time, part-time and per diem positions available. Part-time & Per diem not eligible for the +$10.00 per hour.
