We are seeking detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about the potential benefits of cannabis products and are eager to share their cannabis knowledge with our patients.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Meets/greats patients as they enter. Checks for medical cards.
- Ensures that patient profiles are updated per state standards. ID’s, recommendation on file, etc.
- Creates new patient profiles, scans in documents/IDS, assists patients with intake forms.
- Uses the OARRS program to get patient prescription information.
- Answers phone calls and creates phone-in orders for patients/answers questions.
- Monitors parking lot and directs security when needed for patient assistance.
- Has non-patient visitors fill out visitor logs, gives visitor badges. Assists vendors when they are here for PED days.
- Performs patient consultations – assists patients by providing information on the program, items we are selling / educating patients.
- Ringing out the patient’s medications using our store’s set procedures, staying within Ohio rules and regulations.
- Operating POS system. Cash handling, collecting receipts.
- Fills online/curbside orders.
- Maintaining a clean work environment. Emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, performing other daily cleaning tasks.
- Assisting management in counting nightly inventory.
- Stay informed of new technology and cannabis industry initiatives to drive innovation and efficiency within stores.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Due to state laws regarding cannabis dispensaries, applicant must be 21 years of age or older.
- Employment is contingent on passing FBI & BCI background checks, and state licensure.
- 2+ year(s) of retail and 2+ years(s) of cash handling experience required.
- Experience in the Cannabis industry a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and prioritize workload.
- Must be a collaborative team player.
- Ability to think strategically and develop achievable long-term goals.
- Demonstrated track record as an outstanding problem-solver.
- Ability to work well as part of a diverse, cross-functional team.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and communication.
- High professional standards regarding customer service and confidentiality.
