JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking someone who is excited to play an important role within our warehouse at SimplyHome! This person will serve as the primary point of contact for all warehouse functions, including: Inventory management, shipping & receiving, and order processing & fulfillment. This individual will interact directly with other SimplyHome team members and delivery drivers everyday; and will utilize business applications such as Slack, SalesForce, Goldfinch ERP, and Google Suite to complete work activities.
This person will help create and maintain organized, clean, and efficient warehouse programs as well as support improvement efforts to grow and scale the business. This role has responsibilities to ensure sufficient raw materials are available to meet production demands, as well as coordination of inbound & outbound shipments to meet specific timelines. Successful candidates for this position will have strong warehouse and previous ERP-system experience, effective communication and people skills, abilities to plan and coordinate activities to meet our business demands.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Utilize the company’s CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce & Goldfinch) to log transactions, create/receipt of purchase orders, pick lists, sales orders, shipment tracking, update/maintain item master, etc...
- Maintain necessary stock levels to support production demands through periodic cycle counts, defined picking process, and routine reordering
- Perform shipping and receiving; utilize Shipstation to create/schedule shipping orders, create and print labels, and enter delivery requirements
- Maintain excellent relationships with vendors, drivers, internal team members; be an ambassador for SimlpyHome’s product, services, and culture
- Package items efficiently and accurately, reduce and reuse packing materials
- Participate in the development, documentation, and optimization of internal processes
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, labeled, and efficient
- Cross-train in new areas of the organization when appropriate and necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse is required.
A minimum of 1 year of experience interfacing with an ERP or Inventory Management Systsem is required.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understands warehouse principles and best practices
- Proficient in ERP and inventory management software applications
- Profiecient with databases, software tools, and business office applications
- Is able to actively listen and steer conversations and/or communications to gain the necessary information to resolve technical issues
- Can manage time effectively and able to plan/project warehouse shipments appropriately to meet business requirements
- Can facilitate action independently to resolve issues
- Can provide an excellent customer service experience through effective communication and job area knowledge
- Uses good judgment on when to escalate issues for additional support
- Acts with integrity and a high degree of professionalism, makes positive and meaningful contributions, and builds relationships with other team members
- Ability to learn and comprehend new concepts.
- Passion and ability in providing excellent warehouse-related customer service
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; Proficiency in other languages a plus.
COMMUNICATION AND REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all necessary reporting requirements are met via communications with appropriate personnel; Utilize and moderate Slack channels, SalesForce account notes, tickets/cases logs, email, and other tools as appropriate.
- Ensure data integrity in systems and updates or creation of documentation
- The ability to effectively present information (one-to-one presentations, as well as, small or large group situations) is necessary.
- Conduct individual communications (chat, conversation, email, etc..) with internal customers to ensure issues are handled and resolved appropriately
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:
Valid North Carolina Driver's License
Pass annual background check

- Starts at $18.00 per hour and commensurate with experience
