Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care and support in various healthcare settings. Your expertise and skills will contribute to the well-being and recovery of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical and psychological evaluations
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient progress, symptoms, and vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Ensure accurate medical documentation and maintain patient records
- Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures
Experience:
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting
- Proficient in patient care techniques and best practices
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and interventions
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding system for accurate diagnosis coding
- Understanding of workers compensation laws and regulations
- Experience with medical documentation systems such as Cerner
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) usage and maintenance
- Familiarity with sonography procedures is a plus
