Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Order Entry and Customer Service Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role are to facilitate the seamless processing of memorial / headstone orders, drafting customer acknowledgements, coordinating production follow-ups, and assisting with the scheduling of unveilings. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that every agreement is correctly recorded and that each memorial is created with care and delivered on time. Key Responsibilities:
- Order Entry and Processing: Accurately processing orders received from clients and cemetery partners. Ensure all details are captured correctly to facilitate smooth communication and production.
- Production Follow-Up: Coordinate with production and installation teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders. Monitor schedules and communicate updates to customers as necessary.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to families and cemetery staff. Assist with inquiries regarding orders, unveilings/dedications, and memorial designs. Conduct pleasant and caring phone conversations to assist families looking to schedule unveilings/dedications.
- Unveiling/Dedication Scheduling: Coordinate the scheduling of unveiling ceremonies with families and cemetery personnel. Ensure all logistical details are organized and communicated effectively.
- Memorial/Headstone Design Assistance: Collaborate with design teams to assist in the layout and customization of memorial designs as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in order entry, customer service, or a related field preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engage in compassionate and empathetic conversations with grieving families.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team Player: Capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams including production, design, and customer service.
- Computer Proficiency: Comfortable with basic computer applications and order entry systems.

Salary / Hours:
- Salary Range $46,500-$50,000 (based on experience)
- Fulltime position, in-person
- Monday - Friday
- 8:30 – 4:00 (7 hours)
