Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist prospective residents in a friendly and professional manner
- Conduct property tours, showcasing available units and amenities
- Respond to inquiries from prospective residents regarding leasing options, pricing, and availability
- Process rental applications and conduct background and credit checks
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately
- Collect and process rental payments from residents
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections
- Address resident concerns and maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and resident interactions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property leasing or lease ups required
- Proficiency in Yardi or ResMan software is a plus
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to negotiate lease terms and handle objections effectively
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills, with attention to detail
- Knowledge of fair housing regulations and guidelines
- Familiarity with property maintenance processes is beneficial
