Maintenance Mechanic
Duties/skills
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Preventative maintenance of equipment and building, i.e.: replacing light bulbs (110V & 460V), electrical outlets, fuses and breakers, plugs, belts, hoses, etc.
- Perform all duties safely and professional
- Perform basic mechanics, measuring, metal sawing, belt replacement, bearing and shaft replacement, pipe fitting, drilling, milling, etc.
- Use of air tools, lathes, welding, burning (cutting), hand tools, power tools and other equipment deemed necessary
- Pump rebuilding
- Basic fabrication
- Read schematics
- Use multi meters
- Troubleshoot circuits with and without prints
- Fill out and sign daily paperwork.
- Basic AC/DC certification preferred.
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and written
- Mechanical & electrical aptitude as deemed by the current Maintenance Manager.
- Possess good reasoning and interpersonal skills.
- Able to follow directions
- Conduct self in an acceptable, professional manner in the performance of job duties.
- Requires manual dexterity to grasp, pinch, pick up tools, nuts, bolts, etc.
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: Safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, safety toe shoes.
Maintains Plant and equipment in accordance with The Company’s standards and preventative maintenance schedule. Performs repairs and improvements on equipment and facilities as needed to keep the Plant operational and productive.
· US work authorization (Required)
· High school or equivalent (Preferred)
· industrial maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
· Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
Starting pay pending on experience.
$20-$30
