Senior Controls Installation Technician
Location: Smyrna, TN with travel up to 60% of the time
Pay: $25-35/ hour DOE

We are seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Controls Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the installation of industrial control systems for our clients. You must have the ability to read and interpret electrical codes and schematics, in addition to experience in industrial electrical control maintenance and system integration. You should also have project management, forklift, and manlift experience in an industrial environment. A valid drivers license is also a requirement.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure installations are completed in a timely and efficient manner

Work independently to ensure onsite and offsite installations are correct

Manage small installation team (1-3 members)

Runs wiring and conduit for installation of equipment and systems at customer work sites.

Drive company truck/van and operate forklifts and manlifts

Provide technical support and documentation to customers

Manage project timelines and budgets

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to industrial control systems
Qualifications:

Highschool diploma or equivalent
-
2 year technical school, trade school, electrical apprenticeship or contractor's license or certifications area plus

5+ years of experience working with industrial control systems in following industry:

Industrial electrical control maintenance, construction, or service

OEM machine building experience with manufacturing company

System Integration or Automation equipment installation

Strong understanding of electrical codes and schematics (e.g. network cables, fiber-optics, PLC and I/O)

Reference and interpret electrical codes (NEC, NFPA, UL)

Familiarity with project management principles and practices

Experience in operating forklifts and manlifts

Valid drivers license
