We are seeking a dedicated and committed Clinical Director to oversee and enhance the quality of our services across center, home, and school settings. As Clinical Director, you will play a crucial role in managing cases, mentoring clinical staff (BCBA’s, Program Managers, and RBT’s), and contributing to the growth of all divisions within the organization. Qualifications:
- BCBA, or BCBA-D
- 5-10 years experience in the field of ABA with consistent growth in the field
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills with the team of directors, executive staff, BCBA’s, program managers, and RBT’s
- Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with individuals outside of the company and in other disciplines in an effective manner including insurances, local school districts and other service providers
- Fluency with technology systems and platforms (Microsoft Office, Central Reach, Welligent)
- Ability to communicate clinical needs and provide recommendations at a variety of meetings with families and funding sources via peer reviews and appeals in a timely and effective manner.
Responsibilities
- Staff Training and Mentorship
- Oversee and provide individualized field training for all staff, including mentoring Behavior Interventionists, RBT’s, Program Managers, and BCBA’s.
- Implement and train team on companywide systems changes and protocols during bimonthly staff trainings
- Clinical Oversight
- Lead clinical meetings and individual or group parent training sessions
- Disseminate comprehensive and effective clinical materials to staff and families
- Program Oversight and Administration
- Ensure contracts and billable hours align with approved authorizations; manage communication with families and funding sources to meet target hours.
- Report total billable hours provided by the clinical team using designated templates and metrics.
- Assessment and Reporting
- Conduct initial consultations, oversee assessments and finalize treatment reports.
- Train the clinical team on assessment tools, best supervision guidelines, funding sources, and up to date best practices in the field of ABA
- Family and Funding Source Communication
- Provide progress reports and conduct initial and ongoing meetings with funding sources and families (IEP’s, clinical meetings, team meetings, etc)
- Ensure programs effectively target short and long term goals, generalization, community integration, and demonstrate medical necessity for ABA cases.
- Billing Oversight
- Support the administrative teams with compliance in billing by supporting conversion policies, service tracking and supporting with oversight of school district billing.
- KPI Reporting
- Report on Key Performance Indicators on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to director team and CEO including authorization utilization, total hour growth across treatment codes, and progress towards organizational goals.
Location: Primarily located in the Center setting with some field visits necessary (Home and school).
Hours: Monday through Friday, full time.
