This position is for an energetic, enthusiastic, positive individual who is passionate about helping students and young adults (ages 4-24). Our program works with individuals who struggle socially, emotionally, behaviorally, and/or academically, by addressing the neuro-developmental root cause of these struggles. This is an active and fast-paced position with many physical components. Coaches are on their feet training and assessing children in multiple areas including:
- Sensory and whole-brain integration activities
- Fine motor and gross motor
- Visual and auditory processing
- Reading fluency and comprehension
... all while forging a caring relationship and tracking data.
This is a permanent position, with a one-year minimum commitment required.
One 30-40 hour Coaching and Assessing position available.
Depending on skills and experience, wages will be between $16-20 per hour.
Job Description:
- Lead students (ages 4-24) through individualized sensory/sensory motor/academic programs to help them reach age appropriate levels of function.
- Track and report data to evaluate student performance and progress using standardized developmental protocols.
- Model and engage active, fast-paced and physical activities.
- Demonstrate exercises on floor and/or equipment.
- Creatively motivate, encourage, redirect and manage behaviors, as appropriate.
- Lead students through comprehensive, neuro-developmental protocols that drive lasting, transformational change.
- Do whatever it takes to make breakthroughs possible!
Preferred skills and experience:
- Patient, kind and encouraging demeanor working with students of all abilities

- A desire for continuous growth and development
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
- Experience tutoring/teaching/coaching children
- Behavioral management experience
- Ideal for teachers, para-professionals, or ABA therapists with experience in Education/Special Education.

- Applicants must be available afternoons from 2:00-7:30 M/W/TH, other hours flexible
