Founded in 1999 in Osaka Japan, Beard Papa's, the bakery of the world's best cream puff, is coming to Minnesota! The company has expanded to over 400 stores in 15 countries and territories. We are committed to bringing customers a pastry that is super Oishii! (delicious!). Our first store in Minnesota is located on the 3rd floor at the Mall of America. We are looking for enthusiastic full-time/part-time employees that are responsible, courteous, stable and interested in the food industry. Growth opportunity to move up in management is available.
Responsibilities:
- Following standard recipes and production methods and being involved continuously improving products quality and processes efficiency overtime.
- Decorate baked products using glaze, icing and other toppings to achieve a finished appearance.
- Strong interest in developing new Asian infused new products.
- Creating a welcoming and positive customer experience at the bakery counter.
- Advising customers on baked goods selection and taking orders.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to create visually appealing displays of baked goods.
- Follow all policies, procedures, health codes & safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Highly motivated with entrepreneurship spirit
- Prior pastry related experience in a commercial environment
- Formal culinary & pastry training
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
