Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a positive and engaging learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Assess student progress and provide individualized support as needed
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom
Skills:
- Early childhood education: Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Toddler care: Experience working with toddlers and understanding their unique needs
- Must have 45 hours
- Infant care: Ability to care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques
- Childcare: General knowledge of childcare practices, including safety protocols and health regulations
- Classroom management: Strong skills in managing a classroom environment, including behavior management strategies
- Special education: Familiarity with special education techniques and accommodations for students with special needs
- Preschool: Understanding of preschool curriculum frameworks and educational standards
- Caregiving: Ability to provide nurturing care to young children, meeting their physical, emotional, and social needs
