Job Title: Operations Manager

Salary: $5,000 per month plus a performance-based bonus on each completed project

Job Summary:
Gratitwood is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Operations Manager to oversee our cabinet manufacturing operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of production tasks from initial CNC cutting to the final installation stages. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical skill, creative problem-solving, and a proactive attitude to maintain workflow efficiency and product excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations in the production of high-quality custom cabinets.
- Manage the assembly of cabinets cut by CNC, ensuring each piece meets design specifications and quality standards.
- Fabricate shaker-style doors from scratch when required, maintaining craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Handle the packing, loading, and unloading of projects to ensure safe and efficient transport to and from our workshop.
- Operate and maintain router tables and hand routers, applying precise woodworking techniques.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of services and materials.
- Implement quality control processes to ensure the finished product consistently meets Gratitwood's standards and customer expectations.
- Monitor project timelines and manage resources to ensure timely completion of tasks within budget constraints.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Proven track record in woodworking, cabinet making, or a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong technical ability with woodworking tools and machinery.
- Basic competency in computer operations; familiarity with design software such as SketchUp is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license with experience driving a pickup truck, preferred for transporting materials.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively manage team interactions and customer expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Mozaik software or other CNC operation tools.
- Advanced knowledge of SketchUp or similar CAD software.
- Prior experience in an operational management role, preferably in a related industry.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
