Elite position details:
- 2 day per week position at a clinic located in Visalia, California that is focused on providing general healthcare to school employees and their family members.
- Schedule is for day shifts only on Friday 8A to 4P and Saturday 8am to 5pm. Clinic is closed 1 hour each day for lunch.
Elite Providers are responsible to:
- Use medical training, skills and clinical judgment to provide timely, responsive care to treat a multi-cultural patient population.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
- Work independently, contacting offsite supervising physician as needed regarding patient care.
- Responsible for personalized treatment of patients, ensuring care is relevant for short and long term outcomes.
- Responsible for seeing all scheduled and walk-in patients each day (approximately 12 to 18 patients daily).
- Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs and in accordance with practice guidelines.
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks.
- Must have an active California Nurse Practitioner License.
- Must be Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Must have or be able to obtain an active Furnishing License and DEA registration within 120 days of hire.
- Must have or be able to obtain BLS Certification within 10 days of hire.
- Must be or become proficient in utilizing medical equipment and technology relevant to the role (e.g., DME, EMR (eClinicalWorks), etc.).
Pay: $75.00 - $87.00 per hour
