Busy contractor now hiring a professional Construction Administrative Assistant for a renovation company that specializes in multi-family construction projects and turn services. Looking for a strong candidate with recent experience in the construction field in the multi-family industry as well as longevity with previous employers. Must be available for immediate hire.
Hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Qualifications-
- 5+ years experience in construction administration
- Must possess a strong work ethic, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Profession demeanor
- Prior customer service experience and professional phone manners
- Data Entry and Computer literate Microsoft Office, G-Suite and Sage Software
- Prior collections experience a plus
- Must be a self-starter and have ability to multi-task and work efficiently with interruptions
General Duties: Support the Senior Estimator in daily communications and record keeping including: * Coordinate billing contract requirements - AIA Contracts and Invoicing
- Maintain project files and completing necessary filing for accounting
- Various administration tasks, writing contracts, document processing, filing
- Scheduling appointments, making and receiving calls and heavy communication with field staff, project managers and subcontractors
- Create RFQ's and Submittals
- Processing Change Orders
- Conditional, Unconditional Lien Releases
- Ordering Materials
- Assist Project Managers as needed with scheduling, documentation and organization projects
- Review and process expenses submitted by the construction crew
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Data entry for multiple managers
- Job Costing

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
