Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering medication to patients and providing assistance with daily living activities in a healthcare setting.
Duties:
- Administer prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
- Provide care for patients in Assisted Living
- Implement proper protocols for HIPAA compliance
- Support patients with dementia care needs
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Familiarity with PCC electronic medical records systems
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide program
- Current certification as a Medication Aide in the state of practice
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
- Knowledge of administering medications and understanding medication interactions
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients with diverse needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
