Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Soccer Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students and a strong background in physical education, child develpment, or a related field.
Duties:
- Coach between 5-30 classes
- First sub 2-5 days a month
- Organize and lead practice sessions focusing on technique, character development, and teamwork
- Provide constructive and positive feedback to children to support their growth and development
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for all children at all times
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and other coaches to support the overall success of each child
- Attend team meetings
- Attend coaching meetings every 3 weeks to develop coaching skills
*We are looking for a 1-year commitment to allow for program mastery and professional development within our organization!*
Requirements:
- Must be available 2-3 days per week plus Saturdays
- Minimum of a 1 full season commitment
- Must enjoy working with children, can be silly, and organized to complete administrative tasks on time
- Previous experience teaching, coaching soccer, or working with youth sports teams is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire others to reach their full potential
- Certification in Pediatric CPR
- Experience in behavior management or childcare is a plus
