As a Junior Robotics Engineer at 1Micro, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing state-of-the-art robotic systems. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, fellow engineers, leaders, and other stakeholders to design and develop robotic systems.
- Draft blueprints, sketches, and documentation for proposed ideas and prototypes, modifying based on feedback and simulation results.
- Construct, configure, test, and debug robots and robotic systems/applications.
- Install, operate, calibrate, and maintain robots, ensuring safe and precise operation.
- Ensures that robotic machines operate safely, dependably, and with precision; identifies and implements modifications.
- Identify and resolve issues related to robotic systems, utilizing problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.
- Recommend, develop, and implement enhancements and improvements to increase production volume or precision.
- Maintain detailed documentation of design, development, and testing processes.
- Assist with cost estimates and project calculations.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in robotics technology, automation, and related fields.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School students involved in Robotics Club are encouraged to apply.
- Onsite position in Waconia, MN – No relocation assistance available.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent mathematical ability.
- Proficiency in tools and tasks such as soldering, welding, and metal cutting.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient computer skills, including computer-aided drafting (CAD) software a plus
- Understanding of electrical wiring and computer software engineering.
- Must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship.
