Title: Business Development Architect – Flavor & Ingredient Sales

Summary: Flavorman is seeking Customer-Centric, Highly Motivated individuals to join our growing Business Development Team as a Business Development Architect – Flavor & Ingredient Sales with a salient focus on outside proactive sales.
In order to be successful in this highly visible and new position, the ideal candidate must be a hunter; someone who is confident and outgoing with clients; understands the sales process and tactics; can execute on business and sales strategies developed by Flavorman; proficient in all forms of communication; and pursues every opportunity to grow revenues and maintain Flavorman as the marketplace leader in the Beverage and Flavor industry. This self-starter must be able to confidently present Flavorman’s services and products in untapped markets and geographies while inspiring growth in Flavorman’s segments of business. The beverage industry is engaging, exciting and personable, and we seek a person who is naturally inclined to grow, improve and learn every day as they profitably increase Flavorman revenues.
The successful candidate will understand market penetration and end user analysis; will expand Flavorman’s footprint and strengthen relationships with existing clients and foster opportunities with emerging clients. The Business Development Architect will have a centralized focus on direct business to business sales and may also interact with third parties, including but not limited to, comanufacturers (bottlers), vendors, suppliers, trade partners and industry associations. This is a highly visible, customer-facing company role and key to Flavorman’s continuing success.
Once onboarded, travel may be up to 80%, including some weekends and overnight travel as needed.

Required Skills/Qualifications: Professional communication (Written and Oral); organization; time-management; a low maintenance self-starter; proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Monday.com and/or other CRMs is a plus.
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred; Minimum 2+ Years in a successful customer facing business development/sales role; previous experience in the Beverage and Flavor Industry is highly preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
· Generate new revenues for Flavorman through direct sales territory via proactive client development and account management.
· Sell and promote all Flavorman & Moonshine University products & services Including: beverage development, Flavorman flavor concentrates, ingredients (bulk & specialized), bulk alcohol, technical services, analytical services, consulting services, classroom education experiences and proprietary products.
· Outside Sales Travel, up to 80%, including some nights and weekends as needed
· Commitment to meeting customer’s timeframes and expectations, with a Hospitality-Driven Mindset.
· Develop and execute sales strategies and tactics that are in line with Flavorman’s growth expectations.
· Monitor and understand competitors in order to correctly represent Flavorman in the market.
· When necessary, host clients and prospects visiting Flavorman.
