Tuscan Brands in Portsmouth, NH seeks a positive, motivated and dependable Restaurant Manager in Training for our Toscana Italian Chophouse & Wine Bar. This position is a stepping stone to a career in Management with our Brand. Days, nights and weekends are a must. We are looking for full-time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Make customer service, care and satisfaction the priority in every interaction with guests
· Financial Management
· Human Resources Management, including: training and developing employees, motivating and encouraging employees to achieve targets, take disciplinary action, employee relations, processing time cards
· Oversee the implementation and use of all procedures set forth by Tuscan Brands
· Handle opening and closing procedures
· Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients and preparation method
· Maintain detailed knowledge of all liquor brands, wine and their particular characteristics, beer and non-alcoholic beverages
· Assure company policies, procedures, guidelines and standards are adhered to
· Maintain highest standards of local health and safety codes and company safety and security policy.
· Respond to guest requests courteously and appropriately
· Handle and resolve customer complaints
· Role model appropriate skills and behaviors
· Establish relationships with the local community
· Enforce Tuscan Brands policies and procedures
· Other duties as may be assigned
· Adhere to Tuscan Brands policies, procedures, and guidelines
Job Qualifications:
· High School diploma or equivalent or vocational training certificate; college preferred
· Have completed training in area of alcohol service and maintain current
· Fluency in English, both verbal and non-verbal
· Professional communication skills, oral and written
· Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment
· Excellent customer service skills
· Leadership Skills
· Good organizational skills
· Be able to compute basic arithmetic
· Be detail oriented
· Pleasant, polite manner for dealing with public and co-workers
· Ability to work flexible hours
· Be at least 18 years of age
· Legal right to work in the United States
Essential Physical Requirements:
· Physical stamina to perform all essential job functions and withstand long periods of standing
· Possess the manual dexterity to safely operate equipment and use fine motor skills
· Ability to lift 50 pounds

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
