The Front Office Receptionist is responsible for greeting, scheduling appointments and maintaining records and account in a Healthcare Management System.
This includes, but not limited to:

Verifies patient information and accurately updates demographics and insurance information. Confirms purpose of visit obtains reports or x-rays performed at other facilities.

Prepares patient encounters for future appointments and obtains all necessary medical documentation that is needed for the patient's visit.

Schedules future appointments for patients.

Collects co-payments and balances on patient's accounts.

Represents the practice in a professional, customer-focused manner with an emphasis on service excellence.
Some related experience in an orthopedic/medical setting helpful but not required.
