Position Overview:
A leading global manufacturer of adhesive and specialty chemicals has an immediate opening for a maintenance technician willing to work in a production facility for a dynamic and high growth company supporting major companies listed in the Fortune 100 Global Companies.

- Primary duties and responsibilites are to perform repairs on equipment such as electrical, plumbing, painting and to assist with maintenance of heating, air conditioning, ventilation and other building operations as needed. Applies skill, experience and general knowledge to a wide range of tasks to adjust, repair, disassemble, replace and reassemble and maintain equipment. This includes but is not limited to:
- Assists with the installation of new equipment
- Installs and size utilities to include electrical conduit, wiring, and piping
- Maintains operations and preventative and emergency maintenance on boilers, air compressors, heating and air conditioning units, manufacturing machinery/equipment
- Assist with routine and preventative maintenance
- Works with engineers, managers or other project groups to upgrade or install new processes and process equipment
- Responds to emergencies, work orders and performs scheduled preventative maintenance routines and inspections. Assist team members, vendors or contactors install, upgrade, trouble shoot and/or diagnose equipment and systems.
- May perform building and grounds maintenance, when necessary for backup or in the absence of the regular building and grounds maintenance person.
- Maintains work order or services request logs and other company, regulatory and/or vendor reports that reflects department activity, equipment usage and maintenance history, building inspections, etc, as necessary.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Industrial maintenance work on: Chillers, Boilers, Air compressors, Vacuum pumps, AOD pumps, Mixers, Mills, Pressure vessels
- Metal fabrication experience needed
- Electrical experience needed
- Open to be trained on requirements for OSHA, EPA, DOT and other local, state or national agencies
- This is an onsite job and is NOT remote. Regular and predictive attendance is mandatory
- Maintain clean work area
Physical Requirements:
- Work is in an uncontrolled environment
- Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds throughout an 8 hour shift
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time; walk; use hands and finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Must wear safety glasses and other safety equipment must be worn (as applicable) while in the plant. Long pants must be worn at all times, no shirts with cut-off sleeves or sleeveless shirts
Shift:
- Day Shift - single shift operation. Start time is set at 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday - Friday
- Hours can vary depending on business need
- Must be willing to work some overtime when necessary
Pay Range:
- $25.00 - $35.00 per hour based on verifiable experience and skill levels
Required Education/Experience:
- High school diploma required
- Previous experience in metal fabrication and electrical experience is preferred
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance processes
- Electrical experience
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
- Must wear all proper protective equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to perform specific duties with instructions but without direct supervision
