Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, computer management, and network administration.
Duties:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Provide technical support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets and equipment
- Collaborate with network administrators to ensure efficient operation of the company's network
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new desktops and laptops
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in DNS, TCP/IP, Linux, and computer networking
- Familiarity with help desk software (e.g., Remedy)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach
