As an Affidavit Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations related to the tracking, verifying, and processing of affidavits to meet our high standards of accuracy and timeliness. Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for the day-to-day workflow including tracking, verifying, and processing of affidavits.
- High level of professionalism and responsiveness to clients via email and phone regarding affidavits and legal notices, tearsheets, etc.
- Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all affidavits and client email correspondence.
- Coordinate with various team members to ensure there are no gaps in productivity.
- Follow-up to ensure affidavits are completed within guidelines and in accordance with various deadlines.
- Establish and sustain a professional and collaborative rapport with notaries to ensure a seamless workflow in all essential steps, including tracking, verifying, signing, and processing of affidavits.
- Required to be in the office 4-5 days/week; this can vary based on the needs of the business.
- Occasional travel may be necessary, depending on business needs. Therefore, a valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required for this position.
Desirable Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, some college education preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) or more years of previous experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in a range of computer applications and software, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), document management systems, and Adobe.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with basic office hardware such as computers, scanners, printers, copiers, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing administrative tasks.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 – 25 per week
