Position Overview:
Provide direct support to the Nurse Manager through the coordination of daily unit operational duties, including but not limited to data management, routine compliance reports, correspondence with unit staff, coordination and preparation for meetings and staffing support.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Manage staffing schedules utilizing Clarvia and Kronos and collaborating with staffing office regarding need for additional staff
* Manage all incentive bonuses offered for accurate time/record keeping
* Inform Nurse Manager of potential time and attendance issue for possible review with staff
* Manage correspondence to staff of required mandatory employment criteria
* Manage and schedule staff for mandatory classes
* Complete and facilitate Capital Equipment quotes to support unit manager requests
Requirements:
* HS diploma or GED required; Associate’s preferred
* 3 years of recent administrative/secretarial support experience that preferably includes scheduling experience
* 2 years of experience in a hospital or health care environment
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to analyze and interpret collected data
