JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting / Finance or in Business Administration
- 5+ years experience financial analysis, accounting functions and GAAP knowledge
- Manufacturing experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, detail oriented, strategically focused
- Ability to effortlessly multi-task in a fast-paced, growing manufacturing environment

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Financial Business Partner in:
- Providing the financial leadership and decision making in support of the business needs and site leaders
- Managing the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing process including:
- Prepare a/o review journal entries required to reflect accurate financial activity
- Preparation of account analysis supporting the financial close process and ending balances
- Preparation of financial statements and analytical review of the sites operating results providing an overall site financial perspective
- Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting is provided to Corporate for consolidation
- Partnering with functional departments’ owners to effectively prepare financial budget and forecast in addition to monthly close reports of actual versus budget/forecast and explain key performance indicators
- In coordination with Corporate, assist where needed with annual tax return, R&D tax credit and financial audits
- Prepare Capital Expenditure budget/forecast as well as track and report actual spending and explain any variances versus budget/forecast. Assess ROI as needed for all capital investment.
- Accounting for and supporting the operational aspects for the Inventory cycle including:
- Standard Cost Roll Ups: bills of materials (BOM) and routings
- Inventory management and reconciliations
- Manufacturing variance analysis
- Excess and obsolete inventory
- Driving and supporting continuous improvements initiatives
- Partner with the site to develop costing models for any new business opportunity
- Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls, aligned with Corporate, as they apply to New York sites
- Work cross-functionally with broader Finance/Accounting and other teams across the company
- Other related tasks as needed.
Salary Range: $100-$110k
