We’re currently seeking a highly motivated Project Coordinator located in Raleigh - Durham, NC.
Required Education:
- An Associate’s degree or Certificate from a college or technical school in a field closely related to engineering, architecture or construction is required.
- Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction technology or related field is preferred.
Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess these skills and abilities
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Project planning and budgeting
- Contract administration & project scheduling
- Principles of risk management as it applies to projects prior to and during construction
- Interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective and appropriate working relationships
- Organization and time management
- Perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios
Responsibilities:

Perform design and constructability reviews of projects within area of experience
- Ensuring final project deliverables (As-Builts & O&M Manuals) meet defined standards
- May be required to perform various duties of the Project Manager when they are not available
- Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature
- Assigning, prioritizing, monitoring, and reviewing work assignment
- Coordinate with multiple personnel including project managers, designers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within the stipulated time and allocated budget
- Assist with evaluation of change order requests, requests for information, and other change issues
- Assist the Project Manager in addressing and verifying conformance to the projects’ quality control plan in accordance with quality assurance requirements
- Coordinate daily aspects of the project with internal and external stakeholders
- Create and meet schedules and deadlines of the work
- Provide information and responses to inquiries from contractors, tenants, Authority departments, consultants, stakeholders and other regulatory agencies
- Verify and assist the Project Manager in maintaining project files for all required administrative items including, but not limited to, submittals, RFIs, payroll records, field changes and directives, general correspondence, and pay applications
- Understand and carry out oral and written directions
- Accurately organize and maintain paper documents and electronic files
- Maintain the confidentiality of information and professional boundaries
