Childplace Case Manager (Residential Treatment)
This job is based in Jeffersonville, IN (just across the Ohio river from Louisville). You will be responsible for for the case management and coordination of services for clients placed in the agency’s Residential Treatment Program. This role requires the ability to build relationships with the residents, their families, and the other providers involved in their care, including the Family Case Manager or Probation Officer. In collaboration with the clinical treatment team, the RTM is responsible for developing a treatment plan and appropriate interventions that direct care staff can implement for each client.
Compensation
Starting pay for the role is $38,000 per year.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in the field of Human Services OR Bachelor's degree in the field of Human Services + 2 years' experience in the field;
- Thorough working knowledge of treatment issues associated with adolescents and children in out-of-home placements;
- Experience in treatment of children and/or families preferred;
- Ability to learn and carry out Indiana State regulations concerning childcare institutions;
- Professional communication skills and demeanor;
- Ability to exemplify and convey the agency's values;
- Must be at least 21 years old;
- Be able to pass multiple background checks.
Upon hire, candidates will need to complete a tb screening, basic employment physical, and drug screen, in addition to a driving record search to determine eligibility to be placed on the agency's auto insurance.
Weekly Schedule
Typically, the case manager will work Monday through Friday, mostly between 9am and 5pm, with periodic evenings and weekends to accommodate client needs or event. Flex time is available.
Job Responsibilities
A person in this role will be responsible for providing case management to clients placed in one of the Residential Treatment programs on the agency's Jeffersonville campus. The Case Manager is responsible for preparing treatment plans, monthly progress notes, and maintaining the documentation of client files according to Indiana Department of Child Services standards. The Case Manager is also responsible for coordinating aftercare as a part of the treatment planning process. Additionally, the person in this role will attend court, school meetings, case conferences, and medical appointments, as needed, as well as assisting direct care staff in transporting residents to these events.
The Case Manager will be working alongside other internal Case Managers, Clinicians, Direct Care Staff, and Supervisors who will provide support, feedback, and guidance on assigned cases. Additionally, the Case Manager will work with other external professionals involved in their assigned cases.
