Healing Heroes Recovery Center is seeking a passionate and skilled clinician specializing in trauma-focused care for first responders to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and confidential support to the brave men and women who selflessly serve our communities. As a Clinician, you will contribute to our mission of empowering first responders and their families on their journey to recovery and resilience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide trauma-informed individual and group therapy tailored to the unique needs of first responders.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address trauma, mental health issues, and substance use disorders within a holistic framework.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that may encompass substance use, mental health, trauma, and family dynamics.
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality to create a safe space for first responders to seek help without judgment.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion in all interactions, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.
- Consult with colleagues to share insights, strategies, and best practices for trauma-focused care.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in trauma-focused therapy and related fields.
Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
- State licensure as a mental health professional.
- 2 years post degree clinical experience
- Specialized training or certification in trauma-focused therapeutic modalities.
- Experience working with first responders or similar populations is highly desirable.
