We are seeking a part-time or full-time Associate Community Manager who will be working out of our premier coworking space in downtown Schenectady, NY. The Associate Community Manager will work directly with current and prospective members to give them the best experience possible. We are seeking an entrepreneurial minded individual who has a “whatever it takes” attitude to get the job done and keep our members happy. The ideal candidate is an individual capable of wearing many hats in an often fast-paced environment. This person will report to the General Manager and strive to maximize membership experience while providing exceptional customer service.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop relationships and be a resource to our members by understanding their needs and interests.
- Plan and execute networking and other professional events.
- Help connect members to resources that will grow their businesses.
- Ensure Urban Co-Works is properly stocked with beverages, snack items, and office supplies.
- Support members with set-up and use of the Urban Co-Works technology stack.
- Account management functions such as billing, conference room management, on-boarding and off-boarding, membership changes, etc.
- Effectively communicate with members, vendors, building management and team.
- Maintain the space to our high quality standards, ensuring it is clean and functioning properly (HVAC, trash, management of janitorial service, functioning furniture and meeting rooms, kitchen and coffee bar cleanliness, etc.).
- Provide excellent customer service by quickly and effectively meeting member needs, communicating professionally and taking the initiative to exceed their expectations.
- Troubleshoot our technology items when needed such as Kisi, printer, conference room TV’s, etc.
- Work collaboratively with our GM to help field incoming membership inquiries through email, phone and drop-ins.
- Actively engage the broader Urban Co-Works community using all company social media and email marketing platforms.
- Conduct prospective member tours and provide them a taste of the coworking experience.
- Create tour reports for management and provide timely follow-ups to prospects.
- Drive internal growth through existing account expansions and referrals.
- Ensure space is always show ready.
- Provide administrative business support services to members as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Customer service or hospitality experience.
- Social Media experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift 30 pounds or more
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, Canva, Mailchimp, etc.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
