Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mitigation Lead Technician to lead a team of technicians in responding to water, fire, mold, and biohazard damage emergencies and restoring affected properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of mitigation technicians in responding to emergency damage situations.- Conduct thorough assessments of affected properties, including determining the extent of the damage and developing mitigation strategies. Oversee the implementation of restoring the property to industry standards.
- Coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns throughout the restoration process.
- Ensure that all work is performed safely and efficiently, in accordance with industry standards and company policies & procedures.
- Train and mentor team members on proper restoration techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure all workmanship meets company standards and customer expectations. Maintain accurate documentation and records of work performed, including photographs and job logs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in water damage restoration preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in water mitigation, including 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of water damage restoration techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Proven ability to effectively manage projects from start to finish, including prioritizing tasks, allocating resources, and meeting deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Willingness to travel within the US approximately 3X per year for storm cleanup and restoration.
