Summary:
The Client Services Associate is responsible for proficiently assisting our Personal Account Managers and Personal Account Executives with service needs in accordance with agency standards and workflows.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform customer service and account management responsibilities to include resolving issues related to billing, and making changes to policies in a timely and professional manner in accordance with agency standards and workflows.
- Process certificates, evidence of property, pending cancellations and reinstatements, audits, interim reports and other transactions, as required within agency guidelines, workflows and standards.
- Process all eligible website transactions, including endorsements, loss runs, and quotes.
- Assist in the policy renewal process
- Handle all policy document follow-up activities.
- Assist the department, as requested, through application assembly, setting up files, assembling proposals, summaries, and schedules, issuing binders, I.D. cards, and complete other duties as requested in accordance with agency standards.
- Maintain client files within the agency management system and utilize the system to perform all transactions and file documentation.
- Maintain positive communication and build effective relationships with team members and insurance company representatives.
- Keep up to date on insurance policy forms, coverage, rates, and underwriting appetite for insurance companies through bulletins and online communications.
- Participate in seminars and other training and continuing education sessions to maintain required licenses and for knowledge, skill and leadership development, including seminars aimed at avoiding potential errors and omissions situations.
- Perform other duties as requested.

Education/Experience:
- Knowledge of computer programs (i.e. Microsoft Office suite of programs)
- Experience working in an agency management system is preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Personal Insurance coverage and insurance markets or environment.
- High School Diploma; college degree preferred
Certificates and Licenses:
- Possess a Property and Casualty license or obtain within 90 days of employment.
