Job Summary:
Elite DNA Behavioral Health is seeking to hire a full-time Economist.
As an Economist at Elite DNA Behavioral Health, you will play a critical role in analyzing economic data, market trends, and financial information to support the organization's strategic decisions and growth initiatives. This position requires a blend of analytical prowess, a deep understanding of health economics, and the ability to provide actionable insights that drive operational and strategic efficiencies.
Economic Analysis:
- Analyze economic and business trends related to healthcare markets that impact the company.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses on new projects and services.
- Evaluate the financial implications of strategic decisions, including expansions, mergers, and acquisitions.
Financial Modeling and Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast business outcomes under various scenarios.
- Provide economic forecasting and modeling to assist with long-term planning and new market penetration strategies.
Market Research:
- Perform market research to understand competitive dynamics, regulatory changes, and payer landscape.
- Analyze patient demographics and market trends to identify opportunities for service expansion and
enhancement.
Policy and Regulatory Impact Analysis:
- Assess the economic impact of regulatory changes and healthcare policies on the organization.
- Provide insights on how changes in healthcare regulations might affect the business and suggest strategies to mitigate negative impacts.
Reporting and Presentation:
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations that outline findings and recommend strategies to senior management.
- Communicate complex economic concepts and strategies to non-economic stakeholders.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with the marketing department to analyze campaign effectiveness and optimize marketing spend.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and management teams to understand operational challenges and develop solutions based on economic principles.
Strategic Support:
- Support the strategic planning process by providing insights into economic risks and opportunities.
- Participate in strategic discussions to improve provider productivity and patient care delivery.
Requirements:
- Degree in Economics or Health Economics required.
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data and provide clear, concise, and actionable recommendations.
Working Conditions:
- This position is primarily office-based at the Elite Fort Myers office, with occasional travel to different locations for market research and strategic meetings.
- You will submit any expense reports for mileage reimbursement from this location.
- Paid Time Off (PTO): You are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of PTO per year, encompassing sick leave, vacation, and personal days, in addition to standard company holidays.
Start Date:
- We are looking to have you start on July 15, 2024. This start date is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment background check and the onboarding process.
Duration:
- This is a full-time position, and we anticipate that it will be available for 3-5 years.
