Analyze data using MRP and forecast to determine required inventory levels. Create and track work orders. Ensure that required material is supplied to the production floor to meet the production schedule. Expedite work orders and material shortages. Properly close shop orders, accurately analyze, correct, and maintain accurate inventory of equipment, material, and supplies by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for this position include the following,
Assist in coordination of production schedules with assembly and fabricating departments to ensure 100% on-time delivery of all job orders.
Review and create daily pick lists for stockroom and shipping.
Create and process shop packets for production.
Process bill of material changes from engineering and follow through to production floor.
Review and update material shortage list.
Assist fabrication and assembly departments with errors on bills of material.
Interface with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues
Accurately close shop orders to accumulate cost.
Investigate and correct causes and effects of improperly processed paperwork related to inventory accuracy.
Process returns to stock and inventory adjustments.
Perform nonconformance ticket review scrap or rework, raw material scrap processing and inventory transactions.
Assist stockroom as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school and/or 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of purchasing, production, material expediting, and MRP/ ERP systems preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations
- Ability to utilize AutoCAD a plus
