We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to support our positive and effective employee relations within a partially unionized healthcare setting.
Position Overview: The HR Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment by serving as an employee relations content expert within an integrated HR business partner and practice center model. This position involves conducting thorough investigations into employee relations concerns, including complaints and alleged policy violations. The HR Manager will also perform trend analysis and collaborate with stakeholders to develop action plans addressing areas of concern. As a subject matter expert in investigations, the HR Manager will support the Employee Relations team and work closely with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct investigations into employee relations concerns, including complaints and policy violations.
- Perform trend analysis and collaborate with stakeholders to develop action plans to address areas of concern.
- Serve as an investigation subject matter expert for the Employee Relations team and related partners.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and employees to support positive and effective employee relations.
- Leverage a deep understanding of laws, regulations, concepts, and practices related to employee relations.
- Exemplify the Rush mission, vision, and values in all activities.
- Act in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations or a related HR role.
- Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in a partially unionized environment, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent investigative and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
