Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Must be licensed by the Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification for Occupational Therapy

Must be licensed by the National Board of Occupational Therapy.

Must have valid driver's license

Must have ability to pass drug and background screening

Preferred experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, with some flexibility of daily work schedule. This is an hourly 37.5-hour work week.

Implements treatment plan of care at the direction of the occupational therapist.

Monitor and report status and progress of individuals.

Train and monitor physical and sensory support plans.

Shall provide services to meet the treatment needs of the specialty intermediate care (IC) clinic patients for services in field of care. Shall meet requirements of 902 KAR 20:410 Specialty Intermediate Care Clinics as warranted.

Provides Client based individual services to help maintain/ improve client well being.

Assists in Community integration.

Requirements for state licensure (minimum of 12 CEUs per licensure cycle)
Supervises therapy support staff when needed.
In this position local travel would be required to provide coverage to multiple New Vista Community Home settings. Travel is less than 20% of the expected total job duty.
