Minimum Education/Training/Experience
High School Diploma or GED. Current valid Texas Drivers License to perform deliveries using college vehicles.
Preferred Education/Training/Experience
Current forklift certification or willing to obtain certification and safety training. Some warehouse and/or central shipping & receiving knowledge of day-to-day operations with ability to perform physical lifting and bending tasks, inventory counting and tagging and basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
Minimum Knowledge & Skills
- Basic knowledge of using basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklift and dollies.
- Use of computers and related software application programs;
- Performing numerical computations;
- Reading and interpreting records and documents;
- Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
- Basic writing and oral communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and with other College professionals across a variety of disciplines
- Ability to prioritize workload and responsibilities.

Physical Requirements
- Physical Environment: Inside office and outside delivery.
- Be able to lift 70 lbs., combinations of sedentary work and walking. Work at times in inclement weather. Operate material handling equipment, combinations of sedentary work and ability to walk around warehouse conducting work activities and campus to attend meetings among campus customers/constituents and to travel to other meeting sites as necessary, filing, willing to work in inclement weather, get along with a variety of people – pleasant disposition, knowledge of campus layout, including janitorial closets, familiarity with or at least awareness of MSDS, write legibly, safety oriented/conscious.
