Job Title: Manufacturing Associate
We are looking for an entry level Manufacturing Assembler to join Texas Microelectronics Corporation. Must have soldering experience.
Responsibilities
· Inspect products using a microscope to workmanship standards.
· Perform assembly activities under microscope which may include component mounting, soldering, wirebonding, pull test, rework or other activities.
· Follow work orders, production drawings, engineering drawings or other visual aids.
· Use a variety of equipment and hand tools to assemble highly sensitive electronics components.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment every day.
· Make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
· Adhere to the company and production department’s policies and procedures.
Solder Responsibilities
· Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics to understand the soldering requirements for each project.
· Assemble and solder electronic components onto circuit boards or other electrical equipment according to specifications and quality standards.
· Inspect finished products to identify any soldering defects or quality issues and assess if rework or repairs are needed.
Solder Required Skills
· Proficiency in soldering techniques, including through-hole soldering, surface mount technology (SMT) soldering, and rework/reflow soldering.
· Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
· Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle small electronic components and perform intricate soldering tasks.
· Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of soldering work.
· Knowledge of different soldering materials, fluxes, and solders, and their appropriate usage
Required
· High School Diploma or GED or Technical Training.
· Basic computer proficiency: Windows, Microsoft Office and others.
· High level of attention to detail and quality work is a must.
· Certification in soldering or vocational training in electronics or a related field is preferred
Physical Demands
- The nature of the work can require extended use of a microscope.
Full Time, Non-Exempt plus benefits
· Salary $17.50 per hour
