The E-Commerce Web Manager has a background in WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify. You will take ownership of the development of our website platforms. In collaboration with our creative team, you will transform designs into functional HTML and CSS, with an important emphasis on optimizing website performance and enhancing user experience. 1+ years of experience in website re-platforming (from WooCommerce to Shopify). You will report to the Sr. Manager of Digital Commerce. This is not a remote position.
You Will:
- Ensure that the site architecture delivers an user experience, performance, and accurate user tracking. Provide recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
- Use skills in HTML and CSS to develop custom, responsive themes.
- Maintain website content to ensure accuracy and relevancy.
- Conduct cross-browser testing of websites and site components.
- Implement technical SEO best practices, including optimizing content structure, tags, and data cataloging.
- Manage projects with internal and external partners in development.
- Troubleshoot website issues as they arise and develop solutions to resolve them.
- Collaborate with the information technology team to evaluate hosting options that promote website security and performance.
- Monitor website inventory and update SKU mapping to the ERP system to ensure accurate display of inventory availability.
- Manage product feeds used for sending product information and reviews to Google and Bazaarvoice.
- Implement and maintain accurate site and event tracking using Google Analytics 4.
- Ensure that all websites follow ADA compliance standards, and collaborate with all partners to maintain compliance.
- Ensure that all websites comply with CCPA and GDPR privacy regulations.
- Perform data erasure requests and develop tracking system for such requests.
- Develop email campaigns through email marketing platforms like Klaviyo.
- Research lead generation technologies and implement appropriate solutions to increase lead generation.
- Manage website pricing, coupons, and schedule promotions.
- Build retailer enhanced content pages that showcase competitive differentiation and cross-promotion.
- Manage retailer brand stores.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
- Competency of CSS, HTML, HTML5, and JavaScript
- WordPress CMS, WooCommerce and Shopify experience and ability to understand technical issues and communicate with outside developers.
- Proficiency in responsive design and working with Bootstrap or a similar grid framework.
- Familiarity with plugins such as Visual Composer and Gravity Forms
- Experience managing hosting environments and website security.
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms, such as Klaviyo or Campaign Monitor
- Familiarity with Oxygen website building.
- Experience creating custom WordPress plugins.
- Experience building web applications.
- Experience in mobile application development.
- Experience in animation and online video production.
- Must have a working understanding of e-commerce promotion and advertising.
- Knowledge of the household consumer goods industry
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) is necessary.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics or concepts of e-commerce metrics
- Translate PSDs and other assets created by design team into cohesive websites.
- Sense of visual design and understanding of search engine optimization and user experience design concepts
- Data analysis skills with an ability to turn information into decision-making.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Work in team environment and communicate with coworkers verbally and in written applications.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis is required; employer sponsorship for employment-based visa status is not available for this position.
