We are seeking a Customer Service and Team-Oriented Assistant Manager to work at the Hollywood Trading Post which is a convenience store and gas station located at 3103 North State Road 7 Hollywood, FL 33021. This is across the street from the Seminole Classic Casino.
We are hiring for third shift which is 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. starting at $17 per hour. The schedule includes Saturday and Sundays plus rotating weekdays since the store is open 24/7 including holidays. Pay is weekly!
Position Summary
This is administrative work supervising the clerical and business operations of the Trading Post of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Inc. The incumbent is responsible for assisting the manager in planning, assigning and reviewing the work of subordinate staff and coordinating support services when necessary. Work involves the development of procedures necessary to carry out these responsibilities. Considerable independent judgment and initiative is exercised in conformance with STOFI operating policies and procedures. Work is reviewed through reports and conferences.
Qualifications / Requirements
High School graduate or equivalent GED is required. Associate’s degree is preferred; or equivalent combination of education, related training and experience in retail with some supervisory responsibilities will be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Able to travel and work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary.
